ADMISSION PROCEDURE AND GUIDELINES

v Parents desiring admission for their children are required to complete the application form for registration-cum-evaluation test and return it along with necessary fee and documents which is non –refundable, nor does it constitute any assurance for admission.

v All students applying for an admission, are required to sit for an Evaluation test which comprises a written examination (in general English, Mathematics and hindi) followed by personal interview of the candidate. Satisfaction in both is required before the applicant’s case for admission is finalized. No specific syllabus is prescribed for the admission test, but a candidate must have an acceptable knowledge of the subject, appropriate for the class lower than, in which he/she desire admission, particularly in English, Mathematics, and science.

v Admission is made strictly on the performance of the candidate in the Evaluation Test and not on the basis of mark obtained elsewhere. Admission cannot be claimed as a matter of right even in the event of the child passing the Entrance Examination. Admission will be done as per the number of seats available and the comparative performance of each individual student. However   the Principal or Director will be at liberty to use their discretionary powers.

v At the  time of admission the following documents are required:-

(i)            Admission form, duly filled up.

(ii)          Four recent passport-size B/W photographs of the child.

(iii)         An undertaking signed by parents.

(iv)         Photocopy of the original mark sheet of the last examination passed at the previous school.

(v)          Copy child’s birth certificate.

(vi)         An affidavit from a 1st class Magistrate or Notary confirming the date of birth as stated by the parents. Date of Birth cannot be changed once admitted.

v In the course of a student’s tenure in the School or at the time of admission, if it comes to light that parents has concealed the fact that the child has suffering from physical or mental disability or communicable and contagious diseases or any serious ailment, then the School reserves the rights to cancel the admission or to order the withdrawal of such student.

v Recommended  Age Groups

v Incomplete admission form/forms without required documents will not be accepted after the due date. Admission of such candidates will be automatically considered cancelled.

v Students who fail to pass at the end of the year but within a age group may be required to repeat the class or leave the School.

                

ATTENDANCE

Pupils must be present in School before the Assembly Commences

ü All pupils must be present in School on the first and last day of each term. Parents’ co-operation is essential in this matter.

ü Irregular attendance may lead to dismissal of a pupil for unjustifiable reasons as per discretion of the principal.

ü A student could be suspended for a fortnight   for truancy of bunking classes.

ü No pupil may leave the School premises except by special permission from the Principal. If found doing otherwise, he/she could be suspended for a fortnight or more.

ü A student should have at least 75% attendance per term/academic year, failing which the student may be detained in the same class.

ü However the minimum requirement may be reduced at the discretion of Director/Principal to 70% subject to some valid reason viz. prolonged illness of the student or bereavement in the family. For this, proven record will have to produced, for consideration.

ü Attendance below 75% will not be considered at any cost. In such case a student may be detained or withdraw. For IX and X 80% Attendance is must (per discretion of the principal).
