Admission

Admission

The Application forms are available at the School office during the school hour. The applicant should properly read all the instructions given in the application form and adhere to the same strictly without any discrepancy or omission. The filled up application should be submitted with necessary documents listed below.

Documents Required

  • Birth certificate is compulsory for admission to the Montessori classes and students of standard-I.
  • Two color passport & two stamp-sized photographs. (Attach that of legal guardian if any)
  • For NRI/Foreigners, an attested photocopy of the passport is necessary.
  • One individual passport-sized photograph of each parent.
  • A transfer certificate (TC)from the school last attended is compulsory for students seeking admission for standard-ll and onwards. It should be duly countersigned by proper Education authorities in the case of a pupil coming from an outside state, (once entered on the school Rolls, the date of birth shown in the admission form or on the T.C. will not be altered)
  • Copy of progress report of the child as indication to his/her academic performance and participation in co-curricular activity in the school last attended.
  • Minimum Age eligibility:- (As considered on 1st April)


    Play group 1.5 yrs+

    Montessori-I 2.5 yrs+

    Montessori-II 3 yrs+

    Montessori-III 4 yrs+

    Std-I 5 yrs+

    Also, SXPS welcomes the students within class-V from non-English medium schools, who wish to change the medium to English.

    N.B: Closed on the second Saturday of every month.

Examination System

The School follows a system of continuous comprehensive evaluation (CCE) pattern as per CBSE criteria. The school gives due weightage to each term exam and monthly test.

Each academic session will be divided into two equal parts. Again each individual part will contain two Formative exams and a Summative exam. After that every Monday weekly test will be conducted by the Class Teacher / Subject Teacher.

Courses of Study

  • LKG to UKG : English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Hindi, Drawing & Activity
  • STD I- STD VII: English, Mathematics,Science, Environmental Science/Social Science, GK, Computer, Hindi, Oriya and Drawing & Activity

Books and Uniform

For Girls Beige Pleated Pinafore, white & beige striped blouse, light chocolate brown socks with two beige stripes, black shoes, Chocolate brown belt and chocolate brown bow. Hair must be tied in two pony tails or two plaits with white ribbons or cut short above collar & worn with white hair band (compulsorily). Expensively jewellery & big earring are not allowed.

For Boys Beige half pant (full pant for Std. VI & above), white & beige striped shirt, light chocolate brown socks with two beige stripes, black shoes, chocolate brown belt & Bow. Hair must be in crew cut Compulsorily, (except Sikh Students).

Saturdays: White Blouse, white skirts for girls, white shirt, white half pant (Full pant for Std. VI & above) for boys, belt prescribed above white socks, white leather/foam shoes compulsorily. Hair to be cut or tied as prescribed above for girls & boys. Winter Wear: A Gray color pullover or as directed by the School with two cream stripes around the ‘V’-shaped neck and head cuffs.

Books & Uniform Books and Uniform will be available from the school counter or from the store referred by the school.


Withdrawal

  1. Before withdrawing a student from the school, a calendar month’s notice in writing is to be given by the legal parent or guardian.
  2. A transfer certificate of any other document will be issued only if all the dues have been paid for the complete academic session and library books are returned.
  3. If a child has once withdrawn and S.L.C. /TC is issued the total admission fees must be paid again on readmission.

School Fees

The School Fee covers the complete academic session, i.e. form 1st April to 31sl March of the academic year, which should be paid in monthly basis. No reduction is made for holidays. Fee can be enhanced according to the inflation rate on the decision of the Managing Committee

DEPOSIT OF SCHOOL FEES ; The school tuition fee is payable for 12 calendar months. One installment should be paid while doing admission or readmission & 11 installments by 10th of every month. Any payments made to school is non refundable in nature. Payment should be made through in Cash/DD only (All Credit / Debit/ Cash Cards are also accepted). In case of defaulters late fees of Rs 20/- will be charged per month. If fees are not deposited within 60 days of the stipulated date then child’s name will be struck off the rolls. The name will be enrolled again after payment of readmission fees. Pupils with all clear dues will be permitted to appear the regular examination.

Bus Fare : Bus Fare is payable for 12 calendar months in advance at the time of Admission to avail the service. The same fee varies according to distance from school.
